Municipality of Albinen
Main sponsor of project ALBIJOU
«ALBIJOU – holiday living in charming village homes with full concierge services» is a project initiated by the municipality of Albinen and co-financed by the Swiss government and the Canton of Valais. Advice and support for development and implementation of the project were provided by the Institute for Integrative Design at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland. ALBJIOU is part of a 5-star village plan for which the municipality was awarded the Raiffeisen Prize 2018 of the Heritage Society of the Upper Valais. The strategy we have chosen to preserve this unique mountain village is: utilize, manage, revitalize, enrich.
